    e-book

    E-books seem to be the latest craze and I can't deny I wouldn't mind having one. But the problem is how would I get all my current books on it?

    Since I am planning to get rid of a number of books, I figured there must be something crafty I can do with them.

    Materials:

    • 1 old book
    • 1 metal ruler
    • 1 exacto knife
    This is by far the scariest thing-a-day I have ever done. I was terrified I was going to cut off a finger or stab myself in the leg. Fortunately, I didn't. Although, I did end up breaking two blades (yes, yes, my fault for twisting the knife).

    I did use scissors to cut the pages inside, it was easier and safer than using the knife.

    Book covers are a lot harder to cut than I imagined.

    sad to hear it. i was looking forward to seeing what you were going to try with the C++ and OS2 Warp books.

    p.s. - avuncular is my favorite word, although i always thought that happened naturally.

    @karizmatic: thanks, I think those two books are going to be recycled, but we will see.

    @zebru: I think that should have been N-cyclopedia

    @chris: thank you.

    @razzo: thanks
